Ryan Rebmann began his JuJitsu training at the Amador Judo and JuJitsu Studio in 1984 under his parents Professor Rory and Patricia Rebmann. He was promoted to nationally certified Shodan (1st degree black belt) in JuJitsu at the age of 16. Today he holds the rank of nationally certified Yodan (4th degree black belt) in JuJitsu. He is also a nationally certified Sandan (3rd degree black belt) in Judo. Ryan is a National JuJitsu champion winning 11 national titles. He has won 4 straight JuJitsu Kata titles from 2001 – 2004. He is also a numerous national and state champion in judo, and is the current 2004 California State champion in Judo. In 1995 Ryan became head instructor of the Amador Judo Team, which competes locally, state wide, nationally and internationally. Ryan has lead the Judo Team to 3 straight state team titles and has produced over 100 National and International judo champions. The Judo Team has been in the top 10 teams in the nation for the past 5 years. The team has also garnered over 1,500 local and state places. Ryan is also the head instructor of the Amador Judo and JuJitsu Studio of Dublin where he has been teaching for 8 years and has produced numerous national Kata champions. Ryan was recently named the 2004 California Judo Coach of the year.
