We thank all our students that participated in the Amador Judo & Jujitsu Studio Regional Kata, Sumo Tournament, November 23rd and 24th. We hosted 59 Kata teams, 90 Sumo Competitors and 45 participants in the Saturday Clinics. And our Amador Judo Team Pancake Breakfast was a huge success. The next Jujitsu Kata tournament that we will be supporting is the AJJF Region 2 Championships, scheduled for April 26th and 27th, in Santa Clarita, California. It will be hosted by Kevin Colton and SCV Jujitsu. This is a fun weekend event. We have a signup sheet posted now on the bulletin board. We will again, for a group rate be reserving a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn in Valencia, California. Our T Shirts/Sweatshirts have finally been ordered. That hardly took any time now did it? We should have them shortly. And if you ordered one, we need to start collecting the money. What is more fun than a party? Our annual Christmas party is scheduled for December 17th at 6pm. Please sign up to bring cookies, drinks, chips etc. The sign up sheet is on the bulletin board. As we pause to reflect on this holiday season we realize how very fortunate we are, and how Christmas for some will be met with difficulty. The Amador Judo & Jujitsu Studio has adopted 2 families this holiday season. The wish list for each family is posted on the bulletin board. They are asking only for basic needs. Please help in making this a memorable Christmas for adopted families. We would like all gifts brought in to the Studio by December 16th so we have time to get them distributed. Ryan Rebmann will be hosting again this year a New Years Eve Party/Sleepover at the Studio. Just ask anyone that attended last year about how much fun they had. The cost is $50.00 per person with family discounts available. The ages are from 6 years and up. If you would like any more information or have questions, please ask Ryan. As we bring to a close 2002 we thank you for the privilege to instruct Martial Arts. We thank you for your support and for your friendship. These past 29 years have indeed been full, rewarding and thanks to you... very successful. The date is now set, Saturday, May 31st, 2003. Join Prof., Patricia, Ashley and Ryan Rebmann as the Amador Judo & Jujitsu Studio, home to State, National and now International Champions celebrates its 30th Birthday, with a night full of special memories. Please
note we will not have classes on December 24th, 25th, 31st and January
1st, 2003. Patricia Rebmann |
